Outcasts Putin and Kim Get Friendly in Pyongyang: In Pictures

The bonhomie between two of the world's most isolated leaders, Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin, entered a new chapter with the Russian President's first visit to North Korea in 24 years. Kim pulled out all the stops to welcome Putin, with huge posters of the Russian president and children waving flowers lining the streets of Pyongyang.

While the US and its partners will be worrying about arms transfers aiding the Kremlin war machine, the leaders appeared to be getting on like a house on fire. The photos were provided by North Korean and Russian state media of events on Wednesday, June 19. Here's what the two leaders got up to:
