DP World is offering “war risk” insurance for cargo owners trying to navigate Mideast trade routes disrupted by the US conflict with Iran.

The end-to-end coverage protects shipments across the supply chain — ocean and air freight, inland haulage and storage. That way, it closes “critical gaps left by conventional insurance policies, which typically insure a single leg of the journey,” the Dubai-based port and logistics company said in a statement.
