Lululemon’s hiring this week of Heidi O’Neill as CEO has thrown much of Wall Street for a loop. One analyst called it “a surprise to many investors.” Another said the appointment continues Lululemon’s tradition of “out-of-left-field CEO picks,” noting that O’Neill has “no prior public company CEO experience.”
