Donald Trump threatened further escalation of attacks on Iran, including critical civilian energy infrastructure if the Strait of Hormuz isn’t reopened soon. The president also said the US is in “serious” talks with what he called a new regime to end military operations. Iran’s parliament approved a bill to impose transit fees on the strait, Fars reported. Tehran is pushing Yemen’s Houthis to prepare for renewed attacks on Red Sea shipping should the war intensify, European officials said.
