The biggest news today is again coming from the US, as it has been pretty much all week. To recap: US forces captured and ousted Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro (which Keir Starmer gave a tepid reaction to), and Donald Trump wants Greenland (Starmer even more tepid here).
As Allegra wrote yesterday, these events leave Starmer stuck between a rock and a hard place trying to keep both Trump and Labour MPs happy – who tend to want diametrically opposed things.
