William Blair to Acquire Sports M&A Bank Inner Circle

William Blair & Co. agreed to acquire Inner Circle Sports as the boutique investment bank looks to branch into the booming sports M&A market.

William Blair announced Tuesday that it is paying an undisclosed price for the New York-based firm, which has worked on deals involving the San Diego Padres and San Francisco 49ers.
