Nscale Plans Expansion of Microsoft Data Center Site in Portugal

Nscale Global Holdings has agreed to spend €695 million ($812 million) on infrastructure in Portugal in an expansion of its partnership with Microsoft Corp.

Nscale plans to supply more than 66,000 Nvidia Corp. Rubin GPUs to a collaboration with Microsoft and Portugal’s Start Campus, the company running the site, from late 2027, the company said in a statement on Tuesday. Nscale will invest €230 million in shared infrastructure and €465 million in a second 200 megawatt building at the Sines data center campus.
