Meta Probed by Irish Media Watchdog Over Instagram, Facebook Feeds

Meta Platforms Inc. is under investigation by Ireland’s media watchdog over concerns it’s preventing users from exercising their right to choose what shows up in their feed on Instagram and Facebook.

The opening of two separate probes follow reviews and assessment of complaints and will assess whether Meta contravened the European Union’s Digital Services Act, the regulator, known as Coimisiún na Meán, said in a statement Tuesday.
