Julius Baer Group Ltd. appointed an interim country head for India as its top executive plans to step down after four years at the Swiss money manager.

Kunal Sumaya will replace Umang Papneja, who was appointed chief executive officer for the firm’s India operations in 2022. Papneja is leaving to pursue other opportunities, and will stay on until July, the firm said in a statement Tuesday.
