Bitcoin Climbs Above $80,000 for the First Time Since January
Bitcoin rose above $80,000 for the first time since January amid fluctuating expectations for a deal to clear a path toward a resolution of the conflict in the Middle East.
The original cryptocurrency climbed as much as 2.1% to $80,594 on Monday, its highest level since Jan. 31, before paring gains to trade on either side of that threshold level during New York trading hours. Smaller tokens like Ether and Solana also posted modest increases.
