TowerBrook Raises $2.7 Billion at New Fund’s First Close

TowerBrook Capital Partners has secured investor commitments of about $2.7 billion at the first close of its latest flagship fund, people with knowledge of the matter said.

The private equity firm is seeking to raise $4 billion for TowerBrook Investors VII, according to the people. It expects to hold a second close in late June, they said.
