Hindustan Unilever Ltd. flagged that Iran-war-driven volatility raises the risk of fresh cost pressures and supply disruptions, even as profit beat expectations on the back of tax-cut-enabled price reductions.

“Heightened geopolitical tensions have led to commodity and currency volatility,” Chief Executive Officer Priya Nair said in a statement. While that didn’t affect growth in the March quarter, she acknowledged the company is navigating a tough environment that needs cost savings and price adjustments.
