UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer pledged to use the “full power of the state” to crack down on antisemitism, after a stabbing in north London raised fresh questions about the government’s attention to threats against Britain’s Jewish community.

Starmer convened police officials in Downing Street on Thursday, acknowledging that the attack on two men earlier this week was “not a one-off.” Meanwhile, his home secretary, Shabana Mahmood, pledged to pass new anti-terror laws swiftly in the wake of the stabbing.
