Rolls-Royce Avoids Iran Fallout as Longhaul Flights Resume

Photographer: Christophe Viseux/BloombergRolls-Royce Holdings Plc has largely sidestepped the fallout from the Iran war, flagging a “significant recovery” in airlines using its widebody jet engines while capacity cuts across the industry have predominantly hit the narrowbody market where it doesn’t operate.
The company reiterated its earnings targets for this year, and said it’s “proactively mitigating the impact associated with the conflict in the Middle East,” according to a trading update issued on Thursday.
