Lithuania Prepares to Join US-Led Mission in Strait of Hormuz

Lithuania’s president said his country should join a US-led naval mission in the Strait of Hormuz in a show of solidarity with Washington.

Gitanas Nauseda said he plans to convene a State Defence Council shortly to present the proposal after the Baltic nation received an invitation from the US to join the mission. The mandate will also require parliamentary approval.
