Amex Gold Card Gets More Travel Rewards at the Same $325 Annual Fee

American Express Co. added more benefits to its Gold Card in response to Gen Z and millennial demands for travel-linked perks.

Gold Card holders are now eligible for five times the membership rewards on prepaid hotel bookings through the company’s travel services, up from two times previously, Amex said Thursday in a statement seen by Bloomberg News. They’ll also gain complimentary “Five Star” status on rentals at Hertz Global Holdings Inc., among other additions.
