Rolls-Royce Wins Latam Airlines Order for Struggling Engine on Boeing 787

Rolls-Royce Holdings Plc won an order for its Trent 1000 engine that powers the Boeing Co. 787, a breakthrough for the UK manufacturer that has struggled to sell the product to airlines due to technical issues.

Latam Airlines signed a deal for three pairs of the turbines rather than the GE Aerospace engines it had ordered previously for its Boeing Dreamliners.
