Diageo Plc Chief Executive Officer Dave Lewis is planning to streamline the British distiller’s regional management teams as part of his turnaround plan, according to people familiar with the matter.

Lewis said the move will give greater power to managing directors who should hold more decision-making capabilities for their markets, according to the people who attended a town hall meeting at the maker of Guinness stout this week.
