Carlsberg A/S started the year with positive sales volumes in all regions, a sign the Danish brewer’s strategy to diversify into alcohol-free drinks is working in spite of disruptions from the Iran war.

Organic volumes in the first quarter rose 2.8%, the company said on Wednesday, in line with analysts’ estimates. Carlsberg maintained its guidance for full-year operating profit growth of 2% to 6%. Asia and the region that includes Central and Eastern Europe and India both returned to growth in the quarter.
