ASX Says Darren Yip to Become Interim CEO as Search Goes On

ASX Ltd. named Darren Yip, who oversees the exchange operator’s markets and listings divisions, as its interim boss amid a broader strategic review at the firm to lift risk management and governance practices.

Yip will take over on May 29 from outgoing chief executive Helen Lofthouse on a temporary basis as the board continues to search for a permanent leader, according to a statement Thursday. The board previously stated that it would review both internal and external candidates for the top role after Lofthouse said in February she was due to step down in May.
