Visa Surges Most Since 2022 as Profit Beats Estimates
Visa Inc. shares jumped the most in four years as the company posted what analysts called “one of the cleanest” quarters in years.
Adjusted earnings per share were $3.31 for the fiscal second quarter, according to a statement after the close of regulator US trading Tuesday. That surpassed the average estimate from analysts of $3.10. Revenue rose 17% from a year earlier, the biggest increase since 2022, the company said.
