US Investor Said to Pay 70% Premium for Benfica Stake

José António dos Santos, Benfica’s second-largest shareholder, together with his family’s poultry producer Grupo Valouro, agreed to sell his 16.38% stake for about €10-11 per share on April 23, the person said. At the upper end, the price is about 70% higher than the prior day’s close of €6.46.
