Taylor Wimpey Plc reported steady sales but flagged underlying pricing pressure and build-cost inflation due to rising energy expenses. Shares fell.

The UK homebuilder said that build-cost inflation would be in the low- to mid-single digits for 2026, according to a trading updateBloomberg Terminal Tuesday. At the same time, pricing in the order book fell by about 1% over the last year, with the south of England impacted the most, it added.
