The Ukrainian capital is in a better shape to face next winter after Russian strikes caused mass power outages during this season’s prolonged sub-zero temperatures, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.

The city of some 3.7 million is now better prepared thanks to aid from Ukraine’s partners, Klitschko told Bloomberg TV in an interview in Madrid on Tuesday.
