Hungary’s nuclear energy authority said output at one block of the country’s sole atomic power station will be cut by 50% from April 29 for repairs on a generator support system.

The Paks plant, which produces around half of Hungary’s total electricity, has four blocks, with each ordinarily having an output of 500 megawatts. The cuts will affect block number two.
