Advantest Shares Decline After Outlook Misses on Tight Capacity
Advantest Corp.’s stock dropped as much as 6.9% after the maker of AI chip testers gave a lackluster outlook and pointed to continued capacity constraints.
Shares of Advantest, which supplies equipment to test Nvidia Corp. AI accelerators, fell by the biggest intraday decline in almost a month on Tuesday. The stock, which was up more than 50% this year, had hit record highs in recent days, helped by expectations that testers would remain relatively unaffected by export restrictions to China.
