Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said she’s had no recent contact with President Donald Trump, though relations with the US were “still solid.”

Trump, who had embraced Meloni as a rare European ally, has lashed out at her in recent weeks over her opposition to his war in Iran and her defense of Pope Leo XIV.
