Daiichi Sankyo Shares Fall After Delaying Earnings Results
Daiichi Sankyo Co. shares fell the most in more than 18 months after the pharmaceutical company delayed releasing earnings as it reviews supply plans for its oncology portfolio and assesses potential loss provisions tied to contract manufacturing.
The stock fell almost 10% in Tokyo trading Friday, the biggest decline on an intraday basis since September 2024. The company earlier said it will postpone the release of full-year results to May 11, rather than April 27 as initially planned.
