Safran Targets Top End of Outlook on Civil Engine Strength

Safran SA expects to hit the top end of its guidance range for this year after first-quarter sales surpassed expectations, buoyed by a strong civil engines market.

The quarter “confirms the existing narrative” of a resilient aftermarket division, solid defense demand and no visible hit from softer traffic or higher oil prices, Barclays analyst Milene Kerner wrote in a note.
