Nike Is Cutting 1,400 Corporate Jobs, Mostly in Technology

The cuts will mostly affect technology roles in Nike’s global operations team, the company said Thursday. Nike is streamlining its structure and using more advanced automation, Chief Operating Officer Venkatesh Alagirisamy said in a note to employees.
