Keurig Dr Pepper Results Lifted by Demand for Cold Beverages

Keurig Dr Pepper Inc.’s strong sales of soda and energy drinks helped boost its first-quarter results above expectations Thursday.

The beverage company, which also makes Keurig coffee, reported revenue of $3.98 billion for the first three months of the year, topping the average of analyst estimates. Earnings per share, excluding some items, also exceeded projections.
