Nigerian Power Minister Adebayo Adelabu resigned, adding to recent changes in the cabinet of President Bola Tinubu after the exits of his ministers of finance and foreign affairs.

Adelabu, a former deputy governor at the central bank, said in his resignation letter on Wednesday that he’s leaving to seek the governorship of southwestern Oyo state, for which he must first stand in a primary contest of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
