Jeni’s Ice Creams Hires CEO Driven From Ben & Jerry’s
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams LLC said Wednesday that it’s tapped the former head of Ben & Jerry’s as its new chief executive officer as the company expands through franchising.
Ben & Jerry’s said in a court filing last year that David Stever was fired as its CEO by parent company, Unilever Plc, in March 2025 over tensions with the ice cream company’s left-leaning social activism. Unilever, which later spun off Magnum Ice Cream Co., the maker of Ben & Jerry’s, Breyers and Cornetto, said in court filings that it offered Stever a bigger role in the global ice cream company, but he declined and left the company.
