Germany and India on Track to Seal Submarine Deal, Minister Says

Germany and India are set to finalize their $8 billion submarine deal within the next three months, according to German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

Pistorius said Wednesday after talks with his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh in the northern port city of Kiel that the project involves the production of six submarines in India and that the government in New Delhi was currently coordinating the next steps to seal the deal.
