UK Proposes Law Banning Mobile Phones at Schools in England
The UK government is set to ban students from using phones at schools in England, formalizing existing guidance for teachers as it looks to cut the amount of time young people spend online and on social media.
The government tabled an amendment to its proposed legislation about children’s welfare, the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill, Labour peer and education minister Baroness Jacqui Smith announced on Monday.
