Thales Sales Beat as Iran Tensions Drive Strong Defense Demand

Thales SA reported stronger-than-expected sales while orders in its defense division jumped 75%, supported by continued robust defense spending.

The French defense company’s organic sales grew 9.7% in the first quarter, compared to expectations of 7.3% growth. Five defense orders with a unit value of more than €100 million were booked in the first quarter of 2026, compared with one in the same period of 2025.
