Slovenia in Political Turmoil as Golob Fails to Form Cabinet

Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob said he’s unable to form a new coalition, opening the door for a political comeback by his nationalist rival Janez Jansa.

While Golob won the ballot, he managed to do it only with a razor-thin majority, followed by opposition leader Jansa who admires US President Donald Trump and has been fan of outgoing Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s illiberal policies.
