Ex-Goldman Quant MD Joins DRW From Crypto Investment Firm

Former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. managing director Javier Rodriguez-Alarcon has joined proprietary trading powerhouse DRW Holdings LLC from crypto investment firm XBTO.

Rodriguez-Alarcon joined DRW last month as managing director, having served as XBTO’s group chief investment officer since 2025. He will continue to be based in London, a DRW spokesperson said in a statement.
