Estonia Rebuffs Ukraine’s Warnings of Russian Invasion
Estonia’s government criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s warning that Russia could be preparing to attack the Baltic states, in a rare rebuke from one of Kyiv’s staunchest allies.
“We do not see Russia concentrating its forces or preparing in any way militarily to attack NATO or the Baltic states,” Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna told the nation’s public broadcaster on Monday, stressing Moscow’s economic difficulties and failure to achieve its goals on the battlefield in Ukraine.
