Earlier this month, Anthropic PBC announced it had built an artificial intelligence model so advanced at spotting and exploiting cybersecurity vulnerabilities that it had decided to limit the release to a select group of businesses. The goal is to give these organizations a chance to test the Mythos model and fortify their software against possible AI-powered hacks. The development has since rattled leaders in business and government.
