Uganda’s main opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi has left the country after two months in hiding following the disputed presidential and parliamentary polls held on Jan. 15.

Kyagulanyi, 44, who was runner-up to longtime President Yoweri Museveni in the polls, said on X that he was making “a brief exit from the country to handle important work.”
