Samsung Workers to Vote on 18-Day Strike Plan Over Higher Pay

Samsung Electronics Co.’s unionized workers will begin voting this week on whether to stage an 18-day strike in demand of higher pay.

Three unions will vote from Monday through March 18 on the proposal, according to a statement by Samsung Electronics Labor Union. If approved, the walkout will take place from May 21 to June 7.
