Gujarat Gas to Restrict Supply as Middle East Conflict Escalates

Indian gas distribution company Gujarat Gas Ltd. will restrict supply of natural gas to its industrial customers as the ongoing conflict in the Middle East disrupts fuel access globally.

The company announced on Wednesday it will invoke the Force Majeure clause in its supply contracts as the availability of regasified liquefied natural gas has become “severely constrained.” The distributor will restrict gas volumes from March 6 onwards, it said in an exchange filing.
