Wendy’s Sees Sales Improving This Year, Lifting Chain’s Shares

Wendy’s Co.’s shares rebounded after the chain said sales would be little changed this year, suggesting that the struggling fast food chain has reached a low point.

The fourth quarter “was likely the trough for top and bottom line results,” Bloomberg Intelligence’s Michael Halen said in an email. “Less bad results are good for stock prices.”
