The funding round comes as NASA prepares for its Artemis II mission to launch four astronauts on a trip around the moon no earlier than March. Crew members on the subsequent Artemis III mission will wear Axiom-made spacesuits when they touch down on the moon’s surface for the first time in more than 50 years.
