European Automakers Fall on Trump’s Latest Tariff Threats
European automakers plunged after US President Donald Trump threatened to hike tariffs again in the standoff over Greenland.
Mercedes-Benz AG shares fell as much as 6.7% in Frankfurt early Monday, BMW AG dropped 7% and Volkswagen AG slipped 5.4%. Porsche AG, which doesn’t manufacture in the US, fell as much as 4.9%.
