Uganda’s main opposition leader Bobi Wine, who’s vying for a second time to unseat President Yoweri Museveni, said he escaped a police and military raid on his home late Friday.
Due to the commotion at his residence and because no one could access the house, neighbors concluded that Wine had been abducted and spread the news, Wine said Saturday in a statement on social media.
