Polestar Automotive Holding UK Plc is showing some promising signs with a jump in sales after the troubled electric-car maker required more handouts from its parent to keep going.

Deliveries rose to a record last year, according to Chief Executive Officer Michael Lohscheller, driven by a 27% surge in fourth-quarter retail sales. Models such as the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 SUVs helped boost full-year sales to more than 60,100 vehicles.
