Tesla Closes Out Brutal Year in Europe With Sales Declines

Tesla Inc. finished off a dismal year in Europe with steep declines in several of the region’s major markets for new-car sales.

The US company registered only 1,942 cars last month in France, down 66% from a year earlier, according to the nation’s auto association. Sales plunged 71% in Sweden and 44% in Spain, with deliveries dropping in all three countries for the full year.
