IMF Disburses $385 Million to Ghana After Reforms Progress

The International Monetary Fund disbursed $385 million to Ghana under its three-year funding program as it praised the progress the authorities have made on economic reforms.

The release of the funds brings to about $2.8 billion the amount the West African nation has received since the start of the $3 billion arrangement two years ago, the IMF executive board said in a statement late Tuesday.
